Text From Source: Vickers George Beardshaw lived at Don Bank House and his
eldest son William Frederick Beardshaw joined his fathers firm in 1873. He
married a French lady Hélène Walker. There were no children.
A younger son of Vicker George Beardshaw was Joseph Beardshaw who founded the
firm known as Joseph Beardshaw and Co in Bessemer Rd, Attercliffe, which was
formed into a limited company in 1947 with a nominal capital of £10,000. Went
into voluntary liquidationin March 1994.
